Thank you for visiting the Paranormal AI Inc. platform (the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Paranormal may use and disclose information that we may collect about visitors to and users of the Platform.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are our agreement regarding your use of and access to the Platform.Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the Terms.If you do not agree to the Terms, you must not use the Platform.These Terms shall supersede and prevail over any other agreement you may enter into with us regarding the subject matter herein.

Please note that we may change the Terms at any time as indicated on the date above without individual notice to you.Your continued use of the Platform will be deemed acceptance of the Terms.

  1. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you provide your name and email address via our Platform, this information will identify you as an individual (“Personal Information”).We will not ask you for any information regarding your birthdate or other demographics such as race, religion or nationality. 

We will use your Personal Information solely to contact you and provide you with updates regarding our services. 

We do not actively monitor your browsing activity on the Platform.

It is possible that your IP address can be identified when you access the Platform which identified your computer by your Internet Service Provider.However, as explained above, we do not actively track this information.

We do not share your Personal Information with any third parties except to support our services as described herein. 

We collect the following categories of Personal Information from the following sources:

(a) name; and; (b) email address.

Data collection technologies: automated internet information which we do not actively monitor.

Because we do not permit anyone under the age of 18 to use our Platform, you hereby represent that you are above the age of 18.If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information about anyone under the age of 18, we will immediately delete this information.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use Personal Information which you provide us on the Platform to communicate with you, respond to your requests, and to provide you with information.We may from time to time use your Personal Information to send you automated email messages, improve our Platform and services.

We do not and have not sold any of your Personal Information in the preceding twelve (12) months.

We have not engaged in the “sharing” of personal information (as defined in the California Privacy Rights Act) about consumers in the preceding 12 months.

We also do not use any analytics to monitor your activities on the Platform. 

  1. DISCLOSURES

Paranormal may disclose your Personal Information to third parties who provide support to us in connection with the services you have requested or inquired about:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your IP address or activity on our Platform

Paranormal may also disclose your Personal Information as required by law.We may disclose Personal Information to regulatory authorities, government authorities or courts to comply with applicable laws, or to protect our rights, the rights of third parties, prevent a crime, or protect individuals’ safety.

In the event of a change of control, including but not limited to a sale of our stock or majority of assets, we could disclose your Personal Information to a third party.

  1. OTHER INFORMATION

We may collect other information related to your activities on our Platform which do not specifically identify you and which are not Personal Information.Some of this information is collected by browsers or automatically through your device, such as your operating system name, device manufacturer, language choices, and date.To the extent that we use this information, the purpose is to support the Platform’s functionality.

We currently do not use any third-party analytics providers, and we also do not engage in automated-decision making in connection with your Personal Information.

In connection with the security of your Personal Information, we use industry standard security measures to protect your Personal Information.

We may also use cookies to collect information such as browser type, registrations on the Platform, information requests, and other traffic data.Should you decide that you do not want information collected through cookies, your browser may allow you to decline cookies, though you may not be able to use the Platform as intended.

  1. ACCESS TO THIRD PARTY SERVICES

To the extent that you may have access to any third-party services via our Platform, if any, we are not and cannot be responsible for, the privacy or data gathered by any third parties.

  1. RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

For as long as we provide services or communicate with you, or in the event we are under a legal obligation to retain certain information or for auditing purposes, we may retain your Personal Information as described herein.

Except as otherwise provided, we may delete Personal Information from our database for accounts which we deem inactive at any time and without providing any reason.

  1. RESIDENTS OF THE EU, SWITZERLAND, AND THE UNITED KINGDOM

If you are a resident of the EU, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, we have a legitimate interest in collecting and processing your Personal Information as described above to the extent such legitimate interest is not overridden by your data protection rights, except as otherwise required by law to protect others.Please note that to the extent you elect not to provide us with or you ask us to delete your Personal Information, we may not be able to contact you or provide you with our services.

In the context of an onward transfer of your Personal Information, we have responsibility for the processing of Personal Information we receive from you under the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF and which we transfer to a third party acting as our agent.We shall remain liable under the EU-U.S. DPF Principles if our agent processes such Personal Information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless we prove that we did not cause the harm resulting from the acts of the processing agent.

We have taken (i) appropriate safeguards, including adherence to the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission for the transfer of your Personal Information outside the EU, the UK and Switzerland to us, and (ii) further technical measures to better protect your Personal Information in accordance with applicable laws.

Under the GDPR, you may exercise the following rights, including the right to object to the processing of your Personal Information, if applicable:

  1. You have the right to obtain a confirmation whether your Personal Information is being processed, access to your Personal Information, other information about the processing of your Personal Information, and a copy of the Personal Information we are processing.
  2. You can request that your Personal Information be corrected if it is inaccurate, and depending on the purposes of processing, you may request that incomplete Personal Information be updated.
  1. You can request that your Personal Information be deleted under certain circumstances. The right of erasure does not apply under limited circumstances including but not limited to our compliance with a legal obligation.

You can request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Information under certain circumstances such as if you contest the accuracy of the Personal Information (and only for so long as it takes to verify that accuracy); if the processing of your Personal Information is unlawful and you have requested restriction of the processing rather than erasure; or, if we no longer need the Personal Information but you need it to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.

You have the right to receive the Personal Information you provided to us (and not any other data) under limited circumstances such as if the basis for processing the Personal Information was in connection with the performance of a contract on your behalf, or the processing is carried out by automated means.

Even in connection with our legitimate business interests, or in the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, you can object to the processing of your Personal Information unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your rights, or we require the Personal Information in connection with a legal claim.

Retaining Your Personal Data

As more fully set forth above, we will store and retain your Personal Information in accordance with applicable law and as long as necessary to carry out the purposes described in these Terms and in accordance with our data retention policies.The criteria used to determine how long we keep your Personal Information is set forth below:

  2. how long the Personal Information is needed in connection with the applicable purposes for which we use your Personal Information as described above; and,
  3. whether we are subject to a legal, contractual, or other similar obligation to retain the Personal Information (e.g., data retention laws; government, legal or court orders; or, in connection with litigation or other legal action).
  1. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS AND US LAW

Pursuant to the CCPA/CPRA, if you reside in California, subject to applicable law, you are entitled to:

  1. request access to the Personal Information which we have collected;
  2. request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and applicable law;
  3. correct inaccurate Personal Information;
  4. request information about the Personal Information about you that we have disclosed for a business purpose and the categories of persons to whom it was disclosed for a business purpose;
  5. requests for information about the Personal Information which we may have "shared" (as such terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA), to the extent applicable with certain categories of third parties as well as your opt-out options.As explained above, we do not sell your “Personal Information” which is only shared for the limited purposes herein;

You will not be treated any differently from any users or visitors to our Platform for exercising your rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
